These Terms of Service cover your use of petalsandpermanence.com and any order you place with Petals & Permanence. Please read them — placing an order means you accept them.
About our products
Every Petals & Permanence piece is handmade, one at a time, and made to order. Because each is crafted by hand, small natural variations in shape, color, and arrangement are expected — they are part of the character of the work, not defects.
Product photographs and on-screen colors are representative. Slight differences between an image and your finished piece are normal.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we send your confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if we cannot fulfill it in time, if an item is unavailable, or if we suspect a pricing error or fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time you place your order.
Sales tax is added where required by law. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order that is already confirmed.
Made-to-order timing and shipping
Because every piece is handmade, your order ships within the lead time shown for that item. For gift and seasonal orders, we publish an order-by cutoff date ahead of each occasion — order before the cutoff to receive your piece in time.
Once an order has shipped, delivery is in the carrier's hands and we cannot control their timing. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us — we will help make it right.
Returns, refunds, and damaged items
Because every piece is handmade to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly not as described, email us at hello@petalsandpermanence.com within 7 days of delivery, with a photo. We will repair it, replace it, or refund it — your choice — at no cost to you.
Our standard is simple: you should be genuinely happy with what you receive. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Custom orders
Custom and personalized pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective. The timing, pricing, and details of a custom order are confirmed with you directly before any work begins.
Text messages and email
By placing an order and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages about that order. Marketing texts are sent only if you opt in separately. Full details are in our Text Message Terms at petalsandpermanence.com/sms-terms.
Intellectual property
The Petals & Permanence name, logo, website content, product designs, photography, and written copy belong to Petals & Permanence. Please do not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.
Product care and disclaimers
Our pieces are decorative handmade keepsakes, not toys. Keep them away from extreme heat, moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight so they last as they are meant to.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petals & Permanence is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version; the version in effect when you placed your order governs that order.
